PHANG NGA – PHUKET
Located just over an hour north of Phuket Airport, Khao Lak in Phang Nga is a perfect place to relax, with long stretches of sandy beaches on one side, mountains on the other. The area’s main drawcard is the beauty of its natural surroundings. On the last day of our tour, we will visit the greener side of Phuket, taking in Mai Khao Turtle Sanctuary before having lunch at one of the floating restaurants then flying back to Bangkok.

Mai Khao Marine Turtle Foundation: Mai Khao is one of a few Phuket beaches that provide ideal conditions for nesting turtles. The eggs are rescued from surrounding beaches where the necessary natural and peaceful environment can no longer be guaranteed. The eggs are then given to Phuket Marine Biological Centre and Royal Thai Navy who provide a safe home for the eggs to hatch and the young turtles to gain strength before releasing them back to the sea.
PM: Floating Restaurants: a unique dining concept, the trip involves a fun, fast long-tail boat ride from Laem Hin Pier to the restaurants surrounded by floating tanks holding today’s catch.
