Post Famil 6: Gulf of Thailand’s Underrated Hidden Gem

August 19, 2018 - August 21, 2018

- Free

KOH KOOD – TRAT

Koh Kood lies in the Gulf of Thailand, near the maritime border with Cambodia. Despite the small size of 25 km x 12 km, the island is stunningly beautiful with powder sandy beach, clear waters and picturesque bays. More in land, there are untouched rainforest, mangroves and small but pretty waterfalls.

It takes about 60 minutes from the mainland Trat to Koh Kood by speedboat. The island has limited infrastructure and is less crowded than the nearby Koh Chang, hence it is a perfect destination for those who prefer a quiet and friendly atmosphere.
