When you want to discover the history of two World Heritage-listed sites, it pays to join the famil lead by the ancient custodians of the land. This itinerary swaps Cairns for Mossman Gorge where you’ll learn about the rituals and connections of the Kuku Yalaji people and the Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics Rainforest. Our dinner won’t just be set in a luxurious treehouse overlooking the Pacific Ocean, it will be set in a place of great significance, which will be brought to life through an Indigenous performance.

AM: Transfer to Culture Connect
We’ll swap the city for a cultural connection, with a half day Culture Connect tour. Across the morning, we’ll discover modern Aboriginal art styles, before creating your very own canvas to keep.
PM: Discover the world’s oldest living culture
Following lunch at Mossman Gorge, we’ll learn more about the world’s oldest living culture with a Dreamtime Walk. Across 90 minutes, you’ll learn about the ritual of a smoke cleansing ceremony before a 90-minute walking tour suitable for all fitness levels, covering bush tucker and traditional medicine 101.

AM: Checkout and return to Cairns
Following breakfast onsite at your accommodation, we’ll check out and return to Cairns Airport, ready for your onward journey.
